Builder Awards
Builders love getting awards! Each year the Showcase Committee arranges for three different groups to judge the homes: homebuilding professionals, realtors, and the general public.
Professional Awards are judged by a panel of professional architects, contractors, interior designers, landscapers, and realtors. Awards are given to the 1st Place and Runner-Up in seven categories
- Best Exterior Architectural Design
- Best Interior Floor Plan
- Best Kitchen
- Best Bathroom
- Best Interior Decorating
- Best Landscaping
- Best Workmanship

The Realtors’ Choice Award is judged by members of the Capital District Realtors Association during a special preview tour. The People’s Choice Awards are selected by visitors to all ten houses on the Showcase.
The Professional Awards and the Realtors’ Choice Awards will be presented to the builders at a special Awards Reception on September 28th. Be sure to look for the trophies on display at the houses. The People’s Choice Awards will be tabulated after the last day of the Showcase and posted here by November 1st.
