Shortcuts to Showcase Homes

Here’s a route that takes you from one Showcase house to the next without having to get on the Northway (I-87). It starts at House #1, continues in order to House #7, goes to Houses #9 and #10, then back to House #8.

Begin at House #1 (Amedore Builders, 3 Brighton Drive, Clifton Park).  Turn right out of Southwick Meadows on Crescent Road.  Travel east for 3.7 miles, crossing over the Northway, to left on Route 9 North.  Take immediate right on Church Hill Road for approximately 1.1 mile to light.  Turn right on Middletown Road/County Route 96 (CR96).  First right on Fonda Road (CR97).  Travel 1.0 mile and turn right into Mallards Landing South at Riverbend Island.  Continue through 3 stop signs.  House #2 (Barbera Homes, 58 Mallards Landing South, Waterford) is on the left.

Return to entrance of development.  Turn left on Fonda Road and backtrack to Middletown Road.  Turn left and continue for 0.6 mile to right on Harris Road.  In 0.7 mile, turn right into Farmview.  House #3 (Marini Builders, 2 Farmview Lane, Halfmoon) is on your left.

Leaving Farmview, turn right on Harris Road to light.  Turn right on SR 236.  Continue straight at next light where road becomes SR 146 East.  In 0.9 mile, turn left on Pruyn Hill Road.  At stop sign, turn left on Farm to Market Road/CR109 and continue for 1.2 miles.  Bear left on Smith Road.  Harvest Bend and House #4 (Belmonte Builders, 6 Hidden Farm Lane, Halfmoon) is ahead.

Turn left out of Harvest Bend, then left on Farm to Market Road to light.  Turn right on US 9 north and continue to Saratoga Springs, passing through Malta, to light at Crescent Avenue by car dealership (approximately 12 miles).  Turn right on Crescent for 0.5 mile to left on Jefferson Street.  House #5 (Eastside Group, 287 Jefferson Street, Saratoga Springs) is 0.5 mile on the left.

Proceed on Jefferson Street to first stop sign.  Turn right on Crescent Street to “T,” then left on Nelson Avenue to second light.  Turn right on Union Avenue, cross over Northway, turn left on Meadowbrook Road/CR65 (approximately 2 miles).  In 0.8 mile, turn right on Oak Ridge Blvd. Turn left at first stop sign (Oak Ridge continues), through the second stop sign, right at third stop sign, then immediate left.  House #6 (Snyder Builders, 8 Oak Ridge Blvd., Saratoga Springs) is at the end of the block. 

Return to the Meadowbrook entrance.  Turn right on Meadowbrook Road and follow until it ends at Stafford Bridge Road.  Turn right, cross over bridge, and take first left on the continuation of Stafford Bridge Road/CR68.  In 1.6 miles bear left on Burgoyne Road.  Turn right in 0.4 mile into Burgoyne Estates.  House #7 (Saratoga Builders, 3 Anthony Lane, Saratoga Springs) is on the right.

Continue through Burgoyne Estates to “T.”  Left, then immediate right on Bryants Bridge Road.  Left on Rte.29 for 1.9 miles.  At light, turn right on Ruggles Road.  Jog right at stop sign and continue on Ruggles for 4.5 miles, crossing over Louden Road and King Road, to end.  Turn left on Taylor.  At light, continue straight on Ballard Road for 3.9 miles, crossing over the Northway, to right on Northern Pines Road.  Take second right on Gansevoort Road and proceed for 0.4 mile to Ridgeview Estates entrance on left.  House #9 (Gabryshak Construction, 8 Ridgeview, Wilton) is at the end.

Leave the development and turn right on Gansevoort Road.  Turn right on Northern Pines Road to “T.”  Turn right on US 9 north for 2.5 mile to left on South Road.  Bear right on Old Saratoga Road, past the entrance to Moreau State Park, to left on Mountain Road.  At stop sign, go straight on Spier Falls Road and then straight on Potter Road for 1.5 miles.  Enter Rivercrest and follow to House #10 (Vasiliou Homes, 11 Rivercrest Road, Moreau) on the right.

Return to Potter Road, straight on Spier Falls Road, and straight on Mountain Road.  Turn right on Old Saratoga Road for 0.6 mile to left on South Road.  Turn right on US 9 south.  Continue for 7.7 miles to third light at Daniels Road.  Turn right on Daniels and go to the end at Rte. 9N.  Turn left, then take first right on Middle Grove Road.  In 0.5 mile, turn left on Lester Park Road to right into Old Stone Ridge.  Take first left to House #8 (Witt Construction, Lower Meadow Lane, Greenfield). 

To get back to Saratoga Springs, return to Middle Grove Road and turn right.  At Rte. 9N, turn right.  Proceed for approximately 2.9 miles to the intersection with Rte. 50 and US 9.
